Choo Choo!

I am officially (and finally) on the Glee train. I am surprised it took me this long. But here I am and I love it!

And the green grass grew all around, all around...

I am not a great tennis player. I am not horrible either. But I love to play tennis. Jason played high school & college tennis but he is too good for me. Or I am too bad for him. Not sure. I really do like to play though (sidenote: if you fall somewhere between "not great" and "not horrible" -- let's play!) and I really like to watch tennis on TV. Between now and July 4, my TV will be tuned to Wimbledon and all it's greatness.

Continued: Favorite Items

2 more favorite things to add...

The Sleep Sheep
An adorable "white noise" machine w/ 4 sound options (heartbeat, ocean waves, river, and something else?) We only use the ocean waves. It has a velcro strap that allows you to hang it from the outside of the cradle or crib.

The Peanut Shell
Are all slings created equal? Yes, probably. But this one was on sale which makes it even better. The first time I put Caroline in, she immediately went to sleepy dreamy land. So far, I've been able to take a walk with her in it, water the flowers, and put away laundry. It has a convenient little pocket in the front for keys, chapstick, etc.

Baby Talk: Favorite Items in the First Week

Here are a few things that I've been lovin' during this first week of Caroline's life. By the way, yesterday was her 1 week birthday! Life with her gets better and better every day.

Happiest Baby on the Block
This was originally a book but we watched the DVD version. Don't spend your money on this -- go to the public library and check out a copy for FREE. You and the 5 S's will become best friends in no time at all.

The Miracle Blanket
Run, don't walk, to your nearest baby store and get this blanket -- actually, get 2. It has seperate built-in flaps to swaddle just the arms. Those suckers aren't going anywhere all night. Hello sleep! Nice to see you!

Baby 411
This book touches on everything you never knew you needed to know.

Lancome Concealer
For me, not for Caroline. This comes in handy when you're trying to create the illusion that you've had more than 3 to 4 hours of sleep.

My Brest Friend Nursing Pillow
Thank you Danielle for giving your pillow to me. It is greatness!

BabyGanics Hand Sanitizer
The 3 things I like about this hand sanitizer: pump-style, alcohol free, and foaming. Score!

Business Talk: Every Girl Needs A Bow

A friend told me about EGNAB when I was looking around for cutie patootie girly things for baby Caroline. Things I like about this website/business: reasonable prices, no tax, monthly deals, cheap & fast shipping, and the products are of a really high quality. So far, I've ordered a gerbera daisy clip, sunflower clip, feather clip, tutu, waffle weave headbands, and personalized bloomers. I have been really happy with the products and the great customer service. She is celebrating the 2nd anniversary of the business with a deal: 10% off everything on the site plus free shipping (thru June 8th). From what I've noticed, her prices are usually several dollars cheaper than boutique prices -- love that!
